Day 125: Days are Gloomy Again!

If you are in a place where the rise of the sun marks the start of the day and sunset means its evening already, you are blessed. You are blessed with the energy, positivity, radiance, shine and joy of sunlight. Exaggeration? No, come live with us, in Finland, where only if you are super lucky, you get to enjoy the sunlight during the winter months.  I never thought I would miss sunlight and the sun. It has always been there so it had never been so special to me. But now, I wait for those sunny days. We even go out for walks and bask in the sun for sometime.  But these days, it has started getting gloomy, wet and slippery again. The clouds are up all the time and looking outside doesn't spark joy. The current war going on between Russia and Ukraine has already caused a wave of negativity in the world, and to add to it, the sun also isn't showing up. There is also a tinge of fear in Finland because it shares a border with Russia and it also was in talks of joining NATO. Anyway,...

Day 124: Under-Speeding is also a thing!

This is the first entry of my blog. So don't go crazy looking for Day 1 because sometimes, it is okay to not be so perfect. It is okay to be starting with Day 124. For me it is. I did not start the blog until I got enough motivation for it. I procastinated. I take the blame! Something very interesting I found today is "Under-Speeding". Actually, wait. I didn't find out about it. Kailash did. Under-speeding means you cannot drive below a certain limit. If the speed limit is 50kmph, you can only keep your speed from 35kmph to 50kmph. Boring stuff, I know. But important when you are driving an automatic car on the opposite side of the road, with the driver's seat in the left instead of right, in a place 6500 kilometers away from home. Life is not the what it used to be 124 days ago. Back home, I would be chilling with my family, having a cup of chai (tea) while sitting in the garden, swinging on the hinchka (swing) at this time.
